ABOUT  THE  SWIMMING  ASSOCIATION

The Murshidabad Swimming Association has organized the annual India National Open Water Swimming Competition since 1943. It is one of the world's longest open water swimming competition and among the Top 50 Open Water Swims In Asia and the World's Top 100 Open Water Swims. The race features two distances: 81 km (50.3 miles) and 19 km and is held in the River Bhagirathi.
